The freight company will first receive a transportation order from the customer, which includes information such as the type, weight, volume, starting and ending points of the goods, and transportation time requirements. After receiving the order, the company will process it and arrange suitable vehicles and drivers based on the condition of the goods and transportation requirements.

For example, if it is a large equipment order for whole vehicle transportation, the company will arrange drivers with experience in transporting large equipment and suitable flatbed trucks; If it is a small batch of goods order for less than truckload transportation, the company will integrate and arrange it with other less than truckload goods on the same route.

Cargo loading and unloading

During the loading process, the driver needs to ensure that the goods are loaded in accordance with safety and transportation requirements. For whole vehicle freight transportation, the goods need to be reasonably distributed in the carriage to ensure the balance of the vehicle's center of gravity. For less than truckload freight, the goods need to be loaded according to a certain classification and order to facilitate unloading and distribution.

When unloading, drivers or loading and unloading workers need to operate carefully to avoid damage to the goods. In some large logistics warehouses, there are specialized loading and unloading equipment such as forklifts, cranes, etc. to assist in the loading and unloading of goods.

Transportation process

Drivers need to follow traffic rules and follow the predetermined route during transportation. For long-distance transportation, drivers need to pay attention to rest and avoid fatigue driving. At the same time, drivers also need to pay attention to the condition of the goods, such as ensuring the normal operation of the refrigeration equipment when transporting refrigerated goods.

Some freight vehicles are now equipped with advanced logistics tracking systems, allowing companies to monitor the vehicle's location, speed, and cargo status in real-time, in order to promptly address any potential issues.

Delivery and Receipt

After the goods arrive at the destination, the driver needs to deliver them to the consignee. The consignee will inspect the quantity, quality, etc. of the goods and sign for them after confirming that they are correct. The signed document is an important proof of transportation completion, and the freight company will use it as the basis for settling the freight charges.

If any damage or quantity discrepancy is found during the delivery process, it is necessary to investigate and handle it in a timely manner to determine the responsible party.
